Abstract:
An apparatus for producing medical foam for wound care or hair stimulation has a foam generation unit (12) including a fluid reservoir (290), a fluid delivery line (216) and a foam generation tip (280). The apparatus also includes a compressed gas unit (1) having at least one container of compressed gas (27, 28), a source of electric power (65), and a gas regulator valve (55). A supply of wound care or hair stimulating solution is communicably connected to the foam generation tip such that when the apparatus is operated medical foam is produced by the foam generator tip.

Abstract:
A disposable cartridge for holding compressed medical gas includes a substantially cylindrical canister. The canister is delivered by an elongate cylindrical body that is tapered to a reduced diameter end portion having a discharge port or opening formed therein. The discharge port is covered by a pierceable tip that seals the canister to hold compressed medical gas with an interior chamber of the canister. The tip is selectively punctured to discharge the medical gas through the opening for use in a medical procedure.

A medical contrast suspension generating delivery apparatus includes a Venturi- agitating tip assembly, a source of pressurized medical carbon dioxide, a source of an iodinated contrast medium, and a dual lumen catheter connecting the Venturi-agitating tip assembly to the source of pressurized medical carbon dioxide and the source of the iodinated contrast medium.
Abstract:
A system for controlled delivery of medical fluids to a patient includes an inlet conduit attached to a source of a medical fluid and an outlet conduit connected to the patient. The inlet and outlet conduits are interconnected by a multiple stage control valve assembly and a pair of syringes. The control valve assembly is alternated between a first state wherein the inlet conduit communicates with a first syringe for transmitting fluid from the source to the first syringe, a second state wherein the first syringe communicates with a second syringe and is isolated from the inlet conduit and the outlet for transmitting fluid from the first syringe to the second syringe, and a third state wherein the second syringe communicates with the outlet and is isolated from the inlet and the first syringe for transmitting fluid from the second syringe to the patient through the outlet.
