Abstract: A low profile tactile switch for actuating a circuit including a conductive member (20, 72, 122, 131) having a dome profile (23, 73, 123a-d, 131a-i) and lead means (24, 74, 75), a conductive contact member (28, 80, 124, 132) having a contact (29, 87) and lead means (30, 90, 122a, 124a, 164a-c, 147a-c) and an insulating member (34, 82, 125, 133) arranged between the conductive member and the contact member but allowing contact between the members upon actuation of the dome profile, wherein the switch may be mass produced from rolls of flat material (45a, 46a, 47a, 93, 95).
