Abstract: A computer-implemented method of controlling usage of a computing device comprising: receiving, on a parent computing device, a list of device services available on a child computing device, selecting, on the parent computing device, parental restrictions on one or more categories of device services; receiving, at a server, the parental restrictions; transmitting, from the server, the parental restrictions to the child computing device; implementing the parental restrictions on the child computing device to restrict access to the device service(s) categorised under the one or more selected categories.
