Abstract: A pellet starting material for the production for a plastic magnet comprising thermoplastic resin having uniformly dispersed therein, a ferromagnetic alloy powder comprised of an aggregate of fine ferromagnetic alloy particles having a nano-composite structure, wherein the nano-composite structure, the fine ferromagnetic particles are isolated with layers or specks of a compound selected from the group consisting of metal oxides, metal nitrides and metal hydrides, or with open spaces, and the ferromagnetic alloy powder grains are spherical.
