Abstract: A method includes providing an open weave fiber glass scrim ( 102 ), and printing a discontinuous pattern of an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) hot melt adhesive ( 108 ) on a major surface of the open weave fiber glass scrim, the adhesive having sufficient viscosity at an application temperature used during the printing step to avoid wicking through the scrim.
