Disclosed are a regional information determination system and method based on the collection of wireless AP information. The regional information determination system receives IP information of an access point and location information of an AP information collection device, determines regional information through the location information of the AP information collection device, and matches the IP information of the access point with the regional information. By using the IP information of the access point and the location information of the AP information collection device for collecting said IP information, the regional information corresponding to the IP information can be determined accurately.

The present invention relates to a method and system for providing advertising by using weighted values which accord with an advertisement exposure order. The method for providing advertising comprises the steps of: establishing an advertisement exposure order for advertisers' advertisements on the basis of bid prices input by the advertisers; allocating, to the bid prices, weighted values which accord with the advertisement exposure order; exposing the advertisements in the applicable advertisement exposure order; and calculating the advertising cost in accordance with the exposure of the advertisements on the basis of the bid prices to which the weighted values were allocated.

The present invention relates to a method, system, and computer readable recording medium for billing online advertisements. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method is provided for billing an advertisement sponsor for an advertisement provided on the network, comprising a step wherein the basic billing information for said advertisement sponsor is calculated referring to the history of the advertisement information of the advertisement sponsor being selected by a plurality of users; a step wherein said basic billing information calculated is compared with the appropriate billing criteria already established; a step wherein if said calculated basic billing information is not included in the critical range of said appropriate billing criteria, said calculated basic billing information is adjusted so as to be included in said critical range, and a step wherein said billing information adjusted is used to perform billing of said advertisement sponsor.

Disclosed are a method and a system for providing an advertisement using an opening bid price. The advertisement providing method comprises: a step of determining an opening bid per keyword based on both the cost per minimum click of a keyword and the expected number of clicks on the keyword; a step of determining a display area for the advertiser's advertisement based on a bid price per unit time inputted by the advertiser; and a step for providing the advertiser's advertisement on the display area, wherein the bid price per unit time has a value equal to or larger than the opening bid price per keyword.

According to one aspect of the invention, the method that processes the billing for online advertising comprises: a step for extracting a result of advertising based on the selection history from plural users selecting the advertisements of an advertiser, a step for providing the advertiser with the result of advertising, a step for receiving basic self-billing information from an advertiser's terminal to determine for which advertisement is billed, and a step for processing the billing for published online advertisements based on the received basic self-billing information.

The method for managing the quality of the advertised webpage comprises the steps of: confirming the number of actual clicks that are generated for at least one advertised webpage of a website during a predetermined period; confirming the number of anticipated clicks for the webpage during the period; and determining a quality management index based on the numbers of actual and anticipated clicks, wherein the quality management index is obtained by quantifying the quality of the webpage.
