摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multilayer silo bags that may include a tube comprising at least two layers, a first open end, a second open end, and a first region and a second region disposed between the first and second end. One or more of the at least three layers may comprise an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density of 0.90 g/cc to 0.965 g/cc and an I 2 of 0.1 to 6.0 g/10 minutes, a low density ethylene-based polymer having a density of 0.917 g/cc to 0.935 g/cc and an I 2 of 0.1 to 2.0 g/10 minutes, or combinations thereof. The first region may have a thickness of at least 10% greater than a thickness of the second region. The first region may have a surface area that is at least 50% of an overall surface area of the multilayer silo bag.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a multilayer film containing at least three layers, including (A) a core layer containing a high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a density from 0.940 g/cc to 0.980 g/cc; and (B) skin layers on opposite sides of the core layer. Each skin layer includes (i) a propylene/ethylene copolymer with from greater than 0 wt% to 5 wt% units derived from ethylene comonomer; (ii) from 3,000 to 3,500 ppm of a slip agent; and (iii) from 4,000 to 10,000 ppm of an antiblock agent.

摘要: Embodiments of polyethylene formulations and articles comprising polyethylene formulations are dislcosed. The polyethylene formulation may include from 45 wt.% to 90 wt.% of an MDPE having a density of from 0.930 g/cc to 0.950 g/cc and a melt index (I2) from 0.05 g/10 min to 0.5 g/10 min; from 10 wt.% to 50 wt.% of a polyethylene composition having a density from 0.910 g/cc to 0.936 g/cc and a melt index (I2) from 0.7 g/10 min to 1.0 g/10 min; and from 0.5 wt.% to 5% of a masterbatch composition. The polyethylene composition may comprise a first polyethylene fraction area in a temperature range of 45°C to 87°C of an elution profile via improved comonomer composition distribution (iCCD) analysis method and a second polyethylene fraction area in a temperature range of 95°C to 120°C of an elution profile via iCCD.

摘要: The present invention relates to a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes a first flexible film (12) superimposed on an opposing second flexible film (14). The first flexible film and the second flexible film are sealed along a common peripheral edge (16) to form an inner container having a closed chamber. The first flexible film and the second flexible film each has an outermost layer comprising an ethylene-based polymer. Each outermost layer is a surface-treated layer having a surface energy from 33 mN/m to 36 mN/m. The flexible container includes a peel sleeve (22, 24) superimposed on each respective outermost layer and along the common peripheral edge. The flexible container includes a release material (26) located between the peel sleeve and each outermost layer along the common peripheral edge. The release material releasably attaches the peel sleeve to the inner container.

摘要: A method for shrink wrapping two or more articles, the method comprising: providing a heat shrinkable woven raffia fabric formed from warp and weft tapes, the warp and weft tapes comprising at least 70 wt.%, based on the total wt.% of polymers present in the warp and weft tapes, of an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.945 g/cc or greater and a melt index (I2), as determined according to ASTM D1238 (190°C, 2.16 kg), of from 0.01 to 2.0 g/10 min; wrapping the heat shrinkable woven raffia fabric around two or more articles to form a wrapped bundle; and heating the wrapped bundle to form a shrink wrapped bundle.
