Abstract: A sound generating system (200) for a vehicle (A) comprises: an electro-acoustic transducer (B) suitable for generating a sound in response to an electrical input signal, a digital signal processor (DSP) (102) electrically connected to the electro-acoustic transducer (B) to control the electro-acoustic transducer (B) in such a way to emit a sound similar to the sound generated by the exhaust emissions of an internal combustion engine and a first acoustic wave-guide (C) and a second acoustic wave-guide (D) are coupled with the electro-acoustic transducer (B) to emit the sound inside and outside the vehicle.
