Abstract:
A primitives library may facilitate compiling, linking, and execution of programs that use specialized processors to perform primitive tasks. Data associated with a primitive may be accessed by a specialized-processor-based storage node manager independently of any other processing device. Specialized processors may use configurable interconnection fabrics to manage execution of subtasks, that together define a task (e.g., a primitive task), using one or more specialized processors.
Abstract:
A hardware-based storage node manager enables processing devices to perform file access operations without invoking the file-data access functions of an operating system.
