Abstract: A method for producing compressed tablets comprising bleach material, the method comprising the steps of; 1) forming a co-granulate comprising a bleach material and a water soluble binder, 2) adding the co-granulate from step 1, or a mixture comprising the co-granulate from step 1, to a mould cavity of a tablet-compressing machine, 3) applying a mean compression force to the co- granulate or the mixture in step 2 to form a compressed tablet and wherein the mean compression force used in step 3 is in the range of from 0.25 kN to 5 kN. The preferred bleach is PAP. The compressed tablets produced by the method exhibit good dissolution properties and good performance on bleachable stains.
