Abstract:
A unitary laundry detergent article that is completely or substantially water-soluble, which contains two or more non-fibrous, surfactant-containing sheets with one or more discrete, surfactant-containing particles located between such sheets. The non-fibrous sheets contain a first surfactant that is relatively less hydrophilic, while the discrete particles contain a second surfactant that is relatively more hydrophilic.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to cleaning composition, preferably a laundry detergent composition, comprising a cationic polymer with enhanced suds reduction or removal during the rinse cycle with little or no impact on suds volume during the wash cycle. Such composition is further characterized by reduced fabric whiteness loss after repeated wash cycles.

Abstract:
Filaments that contain a filament -forming material and an additive, nonwoven webs, and methods for making such filaments are provided. The level of one or more additives in the filament is 50% or more weight on a dry filament basis.
Abstract:
A laundry treatment composition comprising from about I wt % to about 90 wt % of an asymmetric di-hydrocaibyl quaternary ammonium compound comprising the structure: (I) wherein R 1 comprises a C 12 to C 22 . hydrocarbyl chain, wherein R 2 Comprises a C 6 to C 12 hydrocarby] chain, which can be branched, wherein R 1 has at least two more carbon atoms in the hydrocarbyl chain than R 2 , wherein R 3 and R 4 are individually selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 hydrocarbyl, C1-C4 hydroxy hydrocarbyl, benzyl; -(C 2 H 4 O) x H where x has a value, from about 1 to about 10, and mixtures thereof, and wherein X - is a anion; and from about 1 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of an anionic surfactant wherein at least a portion of said asymmetric di-hydrocarbyl quaternary ammonium compound and said anionic surfactant form a coacervate; and wherein the laundry treatment composition provides sufficient softness and anti-static benefits without minimized formation of non-soluble flocs.
Abstract:
A detergent composition having improved sudsing profile comprising 0.2% to 6% by weight of a suds boosting co-surfactant having the formula R-O-(CH 2 CH 2 O) n SO 3 - M + , wherein R is a branched or unbranched alkyl group having 8 to 16 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 0 to 3, M is a cation of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium; 0.01% to 5% by weight of a surface active polymer having the properties: (i) the surface tension of a 39 ppm polymer solution in distilled water is from 40 mN/m to 65 mN/m as measured at 25°C by a tensiometer; and (ii) the viscosity of a 500 ppm polymer solution in distilled water is from 0.0009 to 0.003 Pa.S as measured at 25°C by a rheometer; and 6% to 15% by weight of a main surfactant system. The total surfactant level in the detergent composition is less than 20% and the phosphate and/or aluminosilicate builder level in the detergent composition is less than 15% by weight.
Abstract:
Detergent compositions comprising selected deposition polymers for improved deposition of fabric care benefit agents, such as organosilicones, polyolefin dispersions, polymer latexes, microencapsulated fabric care actives, onto fabrics through the laundering operation. The deposition polymer is a non-polysaccharide polymer comprising one or more cationic monomer and one or more nonionic monomer. The compositions may optionally comprise a cellulase enzyme.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to thiazolium dyes, laundry care compositions comprising one or more thiazolium dyes, processes of making such dyes and laundry care compositions and methods of using same. The dyes, compositions and methods of the present invention are advantageous in providing improved hueing of fabric, including whitening of white fabric, while avoiding significant build up of bluing dyes on the fabric.
Abstract:
This invention relates to cleaning compositions comprising organic catalysts having enhanced enzyme compatibility and processes for making and using such cleaning compositions.
Abstract:
Fabric care compositions comprise aminosilicone having an amino content ratio defined by a ratio of the amine containing units to the total number of units, wherein the amino content ratio is from about 1:11 to about 1:269, emulsifier, and fabric softening active. The aminosilicone materials in fabric care compositions can provide a number of benefits including improved fabric softness, wrinkle reduction after drying, ease of ironing, in-wear shape retention, fabric elasticity, fabric tensile strength, fabric tear strength, and/or color protection. A process of making an aminosilicone emulsion comprises the step of mixing an aminosilicone having an amino content ratio of from about 1:11 to about 1:269 with a cationic emulsifier. The invention further relates to a process of making the fabric care compositions.
