The filter media includes a plurality of channels (46) separated by porous sidewalls (50) extending longitudinally from a first end (44) to a second end (42). The plurality of channels includes a plurality of first channels (46a) and a plurality of second channels (46b). The first channels are open at both the first end and the second end and have a first width. The second channels are closed at the first end and open at the second end and have a second width greater than the first width.
