Abstract: A vehicle for carrying a child that is pushed along by one walking, jogging, or running, steerable with handlebars, and convertible from a push stroller to a rideable, operator-powered tricycle. The stroller converts from a stroller pushable from a back end to a tricycle by extending telescoping frame members (70, 80) and attaching a seat frame assembly (115) including pedals, a crank, a continuous drive element, front and rear drive elements, and a first gear for driving a pair of rear wheels (40a, 40b). Further, a child-carrying feature attaches at a front end to a frame support member and at a back end to a rotatable handlebar assembly. The stroller also converts into a compact configuration for convenient transportation or storage by removing the seat frame assembly (115), retracting the telescoping frame members (70, 80), and folding the handlebar assembly forward.
