Abstract: The present invention relates to a food fryer. The food fryer comprises a frying section where the food is fried in oil and an oil removal section where the oil content of the food is reduced. A basket located within the apparatus contains the food and is movable between the two sections. Systems for frying food according to embodiments of the invention comprise filtering systems, fire suppression systems, and/or ventilation systems. These systems may also comprise multiple food frying apparatuses.
