Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reducing interference in a wireless network, said network comprising a plurality of base stations and a plurality of nodes, the method comprising: affiliating each of the nodes with a respective one of the base stations; assigning each of the base stations a respective radio frequency for wireless communication with its affiliated nodes; and allocating each of the base stations respective time slots for wireless communication with its affiliated nodes; wherein each of the affiliating, the assigning and the allocating is done for the purpose of minimizing radio interference between any of the nodes and base stations. The invention also relates to a coordination unit for reducing interference in a wireless network as well as to a wireless network.
