Abstract: Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Kühl- und/oder Gefriergeräteabdeckung mit einem Rahmen, der auf eine Gerätekorpusöffnung des Kühl- und/oder Gefriergeräts setzbar und mit einer Innenbehälterwandung und einem Außenmantel des Kühl- und/oder Gefriergeräts schaumdicht verbindbar ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Kühl- und/oder Gefriergerät mit einer solchen Abdeckung, deren Rahmen auf einer Gerätekorpusöffnung sitzt und mit der Innenbehälterwandung und dem Außenmantel des Gerätekorpus schaumdicht verbunden ist. Der Erfindung liegt die Überlegung zugrunde, den sichtbaren Teil des Rahmens der Abdeckung nicht mehr aus mehreren Teilen zusammenzusetzen, sondern einstückig zu fertigen und die Funktionselemente des Rahmens von dem sichtbaren Teil zu trennen. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Rahmen aus einem einstückigen Abdeckrahmen sowie einem Funktionsrahmen zusammengesetzt, der in den Abdeckrahmen einsetzbar ist. Hierdurch kann der einstückige Abdeckrahmen, der im eingebauten Zustand den sichtbaren Teil des Rahmens bildet, derart ausgebildet werden, dass er optisch auch höchsten Ansprüchen genügt, während notwendige Funktionselemente des Rahmens an dem eingesetzten, im eingebauten Zustand unsichtbaren Funktionsrahmen integriert sind.
