Abstract: Zur Erhöhung der Luftfeuchtigkeit in einem mit einer Vielzahl Sitze (16; 28) ausgerüsteten Kabinenbereich (10) eines Flugzeugs wird eine Vorrichtung (12; 14) bereitgestellt, die eine Vielzahl jeweils in räumlicher Zuordnung zu jeweils einer Teilzahl der Sitze (16; 28) angeordneter Befeuchtungseinheiten (26) und eine Vielzahl Auslassöffnungen (120) umfasst. Die Befeuchtungseinheiten (26) sind jeweils dazu eingerichtet, einen zugeführten Luftstrom mit gasförmigem Wasser anzureichern. Die Auslassöffnungen (120) sind dazu eingerichtet, die von den Befeuchtungseinheiten (26) angereicherten Luftströme in den Kabinenbereich (10) abzugeben, wobei jeweils eine Teilzahl der Auslassöffnungen (120) je einen der angereicherten Luftströme erhält.

Abstract: In order to increase the humidity in a cabin region (10) of an airplane equipped with a plurality of seats (16; 28), a device (12; 14) is provided, comprising a plurality of humidifying units (26) arranged in spatial association with a partial number of seats (16; 28) and a plurality of outlet openings (120). The humidifying units (26) are designed to enrich a fed air flow with gaseous water. The outlet openings (120) are designed to emit the air flows enriched by the humidifying units (26) into the cabin region (10), wherein a partial number of outlet openings (120) comprises one of the enriched air flows.
