摘要： The present invention provides a beam combiner (1) comprising at least two x- cube prisms (10, 20) arranged adjacent to each other to combine light emitted from multiple light sources (Ll, L2, L3, L4, L5) into an exiting beam (400). Further, the faces (12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 24) of the x-cube prisms (10, 20) can be arranged to collimate and shape incoming light beams (101, 201, 301, 401, 501) and the exiting beam (400). Such a beam combiner is very efficient, requires very little alignment adjustment and is very compact.
