Abstract: The present invention relates to a laminate structure suitable for use in fabric articles and on other surfaces that may have liquid water thereon. One embodiment of the present invention is an article of clothing comprising a laminate which includes the following layers: a fabric layer, at least part of which is permeable to water vapour, a first layer, at least part of which is permeable to water vapour and resistant to permeation of liquid water, and a second layer comprising one or more sanitary agents, wherein said first layer is interposed between said fabric layer and said second layer, said second layer is, in use, the closest of said layers to the intended wearer of the article of clothing and the fabric layer is irremovably connected directly or indirectly to one or more of the other layers of the laminate.
