Abstract: The proposed collet chuck comprises a main body (1) with a collet (3) mounted therein, a conical outer sleeve (18) attached to the collet (3), a connection rod (7) with a securing element (10) mounted in it. The unit is distinguished by the fact that the collet (3) is rigidly attached to the main body (1) by means of a joint. Also provided is a sleeve (12) which can execute reciprocal motion and is mounted on the main body (1), while the outer sleeve (18) is immovably mounted inside the sleeve (12) through which the collet (3) is admitted. The sleeve (12) is immovably connected to the connection rod (7) by means of the securing elements (10) which pass freely through the grooves (2) in the main body (1), and between the main body (1) and sleeve (12) are mounted spring-loaded push-rods (15), while the joint is designed as a lock nut (22) on the main body (1). The collet (3) has an outer ring collar (6) to support the nut lifter which is also mounted on the main body (1), and to force the lock nut (22) against the outer ring collar (6) of the collet (3) against the nut lifter (20). Through apertures (11) are provided in the sleeve (12), in which the securing elements (10) in the form of stud bolts are immovably fixed. The connection rod (7) has a ring collar (9) to support the stud bolts (10) pressed against it and rigidly secured by the nut (8). The sleeve also has a protective ring (13) which is immovably mounted on the sleeve (12) to cover the through apertures (11) in the sleeve (12), into which are inserted the securing elements (10). On the inner surface of the collet (3) there is a thrust collar (6). A thread is cut inside the connection rod (7), and support and locking screws (25, 26), which co-operate with the conical screw (29) via an intermediate screw (27), are provided.
