Abstract: A panel cooling system A comprises a pair of Sirocco fans (51A, 51B) disposed on the opposite sides of a projection lens (46) in the radial direction, a suction duct section (52A) and an exhaust duct section (52B). The suction duct section (52A) allows a suction opening in the lower surface of an exterior case (2) to communicate with the suction side of the Sirocco fans (51A, 51B), and the exhaust duct section (52B) allows the exhaust side of the Sirocco fans (51A, 51B) to communicate with the color lights R, G, B of an optical component. Substantially equal quantity of cooling air is blown to the vicinity of incident positions of the color lights R, G, B and the optical component is cooled.
