Abstract: A method for detecting network coverage is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, and the method comprises that: collecting measurement reports reported by terminals in the range to be detected in given period; recording the signal strength and the information of distance between said terminals and a base station in said measurement report; detecting the network coverage condition of said range to be detected by analyzing the recorded signal strength and the information of distance. An apparatus and a system for detecting network coverage are also disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. With the embodiments of the present invention, the network coverage condition can be detected automatically, the corresponding optimal solution can be generated automatically, the human factor interference during the network detecting and optimizing process can be reduced, the manpower and apparatus investing cost can be saved, the detecting and optimizing period can be shorten, and the automation for optimizing the network coverage detection can be realized.
