Abstract: Disclosed are a smart chip (1) and an information processing method thereof. The information processing method of the smart chip (1) includes steps as follows: judge whether the type of the instruction from image forming apparatus is reading or writing at first; if it is reading, send data according to the state of token bit (203); if it is writing, change the state of token bit (203) according to the content of the instruction. The smart chip (1) and the information processing method thereof according to the present invention make the smart chip can be used repeatedly by providing two memory areas and using a token bit to control reading of data in the memory areas.

Abstract: A detecting circuit and an ink cartridge are provided. The detecting circuit comprises an electrode couple (1), a signal exchanging electrode (2), an AC signal source (8), and at least one capacitor (20) connected with the electrode couple in series. The detecting circuit has a simple structure and uses fewer elements. Therefore, the detecting circuit can be made using a simple manufacturing process and a low production cost.
