Abstract: The present invention is a scouring article including a substrate having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a texture layer formed on at least one of the first and second surfaces of the substrate. The texture layer includes a plurality of discrete segments and includes a fungicide. The fungicide remains active before and after being subjected to AATCC Test Method 130-2000, section 8 with a water temperature of approximately 41°C and using 1993 AATCC Standard Reference Detergent.
