Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a reclosable fastener web 100, 100' having a backing layer 20, 20' and U-shaped fasteners 40, 40' comprising two fastening elements 40A, 40B each having a stem 36 and an enlarged portion 38 at the distal end. The stem 36 is a section of a fiber with an elongation at break of less than 400 % and the stem 36 has a linear density of less than 50 dtex. The present disclosure further relates to a method of making a reclosable fastener web 100, 100'. Moreover, the present disclosure relates to a fibrous hook and loop component comprising a reclosable fastener web 100, 100' according to the present disclosure as well as to an elastic ear 810, 810' for a hygiene article 820, 820' and to a hygiene article 820, 820' comprising a reclosable fastener web 100, 100' according to the present disclosure. The reclosable fastener web 100, 100' according to the present disclosure provides a soft touch and textile appearance of a fastener system and reduces skin irritations thereby. Also, a cost-effective fastening system is thereby provided.
Abstract:
This invention is directed to a sanitary product attachment means comprising a connection member (3) having a flexible base carrier (4), whereas on one main surface of the connection member (3) an underwear connection means (5) is present which is configured to fix the connection member (3) to a piece of underwear (12) and on the opposing main surface of the connection member (3) an absorbent member connection means (6) is present which is configured to fix the connection member (3) to the underside of an absorbent member (2, 2a).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for forming a fastener having fastener members (23, 63) wherein molten polymer material is deposited by a deposition device onto a contact release surface (7, 27, 32), thereby forming preform projections (20, 60), which contact the front surface (21) of a carrier (13, 62) with their terminal ends (22, 61) and bond to the carrier (13, 62). The carrier (13, 62) is removed with the preform projections (20, 60) attached, thereby separating the preform projections (20, 60) from the contact release surface (7, 27, 32) and forming fastening members (23, 63) projecting from the front surface (21) of the carrier (13, 62). The invention relates further to a method for manufacturing a precursor web (66) for manufacturing a fastener, a fastener web (91, 94,101) for engaging with a loop fabric and a precursor web (66) for manufacturing a fastener.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a composite web for a use as landing zones for mechanical fasteners of disposable products, e.g., disposable diapers. The process comprises the steps of providing a first web material having first and second opposite surfaces, wherein the first surfaces engageable with the mechanical fastener component, providing a second web material comprising one or more indicia, wherein the second web material has a width smaller than the width of the first web material, and connecting the second web material with the second surface of the first web material to form a composite web. The invention also relates to a landing zone for mechanical fasteners and to processes for manufacturing disposable products and to disposable products as such.
