Abstract:
An electric pole for a low-voltage power circuit breaker, comprising an insulating enclosure (20, 30) that has a lower wall, an upper wall, two side walls, a rear wall and a front wall, at least one arc chute, at least one fixed contact (8) and at least one moving contact (9) that can be mutually coupled/uncoupled, and a first electric terminal (10) and a second electric terminal (11) that are functionally associated with the fixed contact and the moving contact and allow electrical connection of the pole in input and in output, its particularity consisting of the fact that the insulating enclosure comprises a first half-shell (20) and a second half-shell (30) which are mutually coupled along corresponding coupling surfaces and form a self-supporting structure, the first and second half-shells being shaped so as to form at least one compartment (12) that is suitable to accommodate the fixed contact and the moving contact and the arc chute, and second (13) and third containment volumes (14), which are arranged on mutually opposite sides with respect to the compartment and are suitable to accommodate respectively the first and second electric terminals.
Abstract:
A rotating contact supporting shaft for a low-voltage power circuit breaker, whose particularity consists of the fact that it has a modular structure that comprises, along the rotation axis, at least one first and one second supporting module (10, 20), each module being functionally coupled to at least one corresponding moving contact (3) of the circuit breaker and being provided respectively with first and second means (22) for connection to at least one first interconnection module (30); the first interconnection module is interposed between the first and second supporting modules and is provided with third and fourth connection means (31) that are suitable to be coupled respectively to the first and second connection means; the coupling between the first and third connection means and between the second and fourth connection means allows the functional connection between the first and second supporting modules and the direct structural connection of the interconnection module to the first and second supporting modules.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic relay with adjustable tripping threshold for a low-voltage circuit breaker, comprising a magnetic circuit that has a fixed part, which comprises a fixed element made of ferromagnetic material, a core, and at least one winding coil, and a moving part, which has a moving plate made of ferromagnetic material and arranged so as to face at least partially the fixed element with the coil interposed between the moving plate and the fixed element, the moving plate being functionally connected to means for adjusting the tripping threshold; its particularity consisting of the fact that the moving plate and/or the fixed element have a contoured body that allows, by acting on the adjustment means, to set the tripping threshold by simultaneously varying the gap between the moving plate and the fixed element and the magnetic coupling between the moving plate and the core.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic protection device, in particular for an automatic circuit breaker or a disconnecting switch, preferably for use in low voltage systems. The invention also relates to an automatic circuit breaker comprising this device. The protection device (1) according to the invention comprises a low voltage circuit breaker comprising an air gap magnetic circuit (T), provided with a first portion (10) forming a first surface (11) of said air gap (T) and a second portion (20) forming a second surface (21) of the air gap (T). The first portion (10) constitutes a fixed section of the magnetic circuit, while the second portion (20) constitutes a moving section of the magnetic circuit. The magnetic circuit also comprises a flexible portion (30) that connects the first portion (10) to the second portion (20) with cont inuit y, forming an intermediate section of magnetic circuit interposed between the fixed section and the moving section. The third flexible portion (30) advantageously allows a relative movement of the second surface (21) of the air gap (T) with respect to said first surface (11). In its essent ial form, the protection device (1) comprises an actuation element (50) associated with the second portion (20) of the magnetic circuit for the purpose of contacting a trip device of a circuit breaker to which the protective device is applied.
