The sensing means comprise a first reservoir (11) positioned inside the shaped body and is suitable to be at least partially filled with the transformer fluid, optical means (12, 13) operatively associated with the first reservoir for optically sensing the level of the fluid, and a second reservoir (14) which is in hydraulic communication with the first reservoir and is suitable to be at least partially filled with the fluid. The second reservoir (14) is positioned at least partially external to the shaped body and is configured so as to make externally visible the level of fluid contained inside it.
Abstract:
An oil level indicator comprising a float connected to a rod which are suitable to move within an oil filled vessel of an associated power equipment; a magnet is connected to the rod, and a magnetic sensor is provided in front of the magnet 6 for detecting a change or variation of the magnetic field provided by the magnet when the float 1 and the rod 2 move due to a change of the oil level inside the vessel. The magnetic sensor comprises a microchip set inside an electronic board (7) for giving a digital output indicative of the change of oil level inside the vessel.

The sensing device is suitable to be at least partially immersed into the liquid and comprises at least one movable part displaceable by movements of the liquid; the electronic unit detects signals indicative of the actual position of the movable part and is arranged to elaborate, based on the detected signals, data related to actual conditions of the transformer and/or of its cooling liquid.
Abstract:
Air dehydrating breather assembly and method for providing dehumidifying air suitable to be supplied into oil expansion vessels used in electrical devices, comprising first and second air demoisturizer units associated to two corresponding oil expansion vessels. The first air demoisturizer unit comprises a first tank and a second tank housing moisture absorbing means and alternatively providing dehumidified air; the second air demoisturizer unit comprises a third tank housing moisture absorbing means and providing dehumidified air. Sensors are associated to the first, second and third tanks in order to detect the level of saturation of their moisture absorbing means. Electronic means are operatively associated to the sensors for routing dehumidified air to the associated oil-expansion vessels from the tanks whose moisture absorbing means are not saturated.
