Abstract: An uplock (101) for use with an aircraft component. The uplock comprises a hook (102) configured to engage a capture pin (126) mounted on the aircraft component. The hook (102) is mounted for movement between a closed position and an open position. The uplock (101) further comprises an indicator system (130) configured to detect whether a pin (126) is engaged with the hook (102) when the hook (102) is in the closed position.
