Abstract:
A networking device is disclosed adapted for use as a gateway for a local network, said networking device being adapted for being remotely managed by means of a remote management protocol, wherein said networking device comprises a controller for detecting whether said networking device is taking part in a remote management protocol session, and an indicator for indicating whether said networking device is taking part in a remote management protocol session, being controlled by said controller; a method and a computer program.
Abstract:
Method for remote configuration of a device via a network by means of a remote autoconf iguration server (ACS), wherein the configuration comprises creating new data, or modifying or deleting writeable data of the device, wherein preferably the TR-069 CPE WAN management protocol is used for communicating between the ACS and the device, said remote management protocol using sessions consisting of transactions, a transaction being a single request followed by a single response, wherein within a session, when writeable data has to be created, modified or deleted by the ACS, at least the writeable data to be created, deleted or modified are write-locked for other management agents at the transaction level, and wherein the write-lock is released within said session, after a successful configuration and/or after a failure.
Abstract:
The present application describes a Qos module for use in a home network that comprises a plurality of devices and a home gateway. The home gateway is enabled to receive a multicast stream and to forward the multicast stream to at least one of the devices under control of a multicast proxy module. The Qos module further comprises the multicast proxy module for also sending, upon reception of a multicast join message from one of the devices for joining the multicast stream, a Quality of Service request. The Quality of Service request comprising an address of the home gateway and an address of said device. The Qos module further comprises a unicast Quality of Service control module for reception of the Quality of Service request and for sending a unicast Quality of Service event message in order to request thereby provision of Quality of Service for the multicast stream when being forwarded from the home gateway to the device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method, system and related devices for a first call party reporting abuse of a communication session by a second call party, where said first call party is involved in said communications session established between said first call party associated with a first communications device and at least said second call party associated with a second communications device. The first communications device and the second communications device are being coupled over a communications network. The method comprises the steps of collecting information on said second call party making abuse for inclusion in an abuse report at detecting an abuse attempt by said second call party, creating a report including said information collected and reporting abuse of said communication session to an authorized organization. Subsequently such authorized organization, based on said reporting of abuse may intercept said communication session and optionally the authorized organization, may take at least one further action.
Abstract:
A method for associating name information to a sensor device in a local network, the local network being connected to an access network by means of a service gateway, and the service gateway being adapted for communicating with the sensor device, comprising performing at the service gateway: - receiving sensor identification information for the sensor device; - forwarding the sensor identification information to a mobile device of a user, through a wireless telecommunication network; - receiving naming information for the sensor device from the mobile device through the telecommunication network; - storing the naming information for the sensor device; a service gateway, and a remote management server.
Abstract:
Method for interactive delivery of multimedia content to a user entity. The method includes the steps of : a server entity accepting from a content production entity interactive multimedia content including a plurality of content segments and control data for presentation of the multimedia content; the server entity sending to the user entity presentation information based on the control data; the server entity receiving from the user entity an interaction request at a receipt time, where the interaction request is based on the presentation information, the server entity transmitting at least one identified content segment of the content segments to the user entity based on the interaction request, The control data comprises an actionmap containing time dependent action descriptors. The identified content segment is determined by activating a specific action descriptor of the actionmap in function of the receipt time and of information contained in the interaction request.
