Abstract:
Method and apparatus for supporting a partial sub-frame data transmission in LTE systems. The transmitting device performs a channel assessment in a previous sub-frame in an unlicensed carrier (S110). After a successful channel assessment, the transmitting device starts a data transmission (S120). The transmitting device transmits a control message for indicating the data transmission in (E)PDCCH (S140). The control message may include the starting time of the data transmission and /or at least one transmission characteristic in the previous sub-frame. The transmission device may transmit an initial control message for indicating a potential data transmission being started in the sub-frame in which the initial control message is transmitting. Method and apparatus enable (E)CCA to take place at any time, and data transmission to start earlier than the next sub-frame boundary after a successful completion of (E)CCA, thus improving the data transmission capacity, especially in circumstances when the maximum length of transmission is constrained.
Abstract:
The present invention aims to assist UE to reduce the interference from the neighboring base station by providing UE with subset restriction(SR)related information which includes one or more levels of multiple-level signaling. According to the present invention, an apparatus, in a base station in a wireless network, for assisting UE served by another base station to reduce interference, is provided, the apparatus comprises: means for receiving the request for subset restriction from the serving base station; means for, in response to the request, providing the subset restriction related information to said serving base station, wherein the SR related information may comprise one or more levels of multiple-level signaling, the first level of which indicating whether to activate SR and the next levels of which indicating the specifics of SR if SR is to be activated. With the present invention, the following advantages are achieved: -1)The subset restriction related information provided by the interfering base station assists UE to reduce the erroneous detection and improve its throughout performance; 2)The hierarchy of multiple-level signaling provides more flexibility for base stations to indicate various combinations of subset restriction. This is to allow base stations to decide to start or stop the subset restriction; 3)The hierarchy of multiple-level signaling provides a flexibility to accommodate future expansion.

The invention provides a method and apparatus for invoking a response of a current TDD subframe configuration. First, the first base station sends to the second base station a first message for invoking a response of a current TDD subframe configuration of the second base station. Second, the second base station receives the first message from the first base station and then sends to the first base station a second message in response to the first message, the second message including the current TDD subframe configuration of the second base station. Third, the first base station receives the second message from the second base station and acquires the current TDD subframe configuration of the second base station from the second message. The first message can be a LOAD INFORMATION message, wherein the LOAD INFORMATION message comprises a TDD subframe assignment invoke included in an Invoke Indication IE, and the TDD subframe assignment invoke is used for indicating the invoke of the response of the current TDD subframe configuration of the second base station.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and apparatuses for interference coordination in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: detecting, by an interfering eNB, mismatching between subframe configuration of its downlink transmission and subframe configuration of uplink transmission of an interfered eNB; and informing the interfered eNB of a Relative Narrow-Band Transmit Power RNTP with a flag, wherein the flag indicates the RNTP is used for scheduling resource allocation of uplink transmission by the interfered eNB. According to embodiments of the present invention, by adapting the RNTP in Release 8/9, an proactive inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) for the eNB-to-eNB interference can be implemented. Moreover, the RNTP can be used with a message of the OI-like as previously proposed, so as to achieve a better bi-directional ICIC in the eNB-to-eNB interference case.
