    Abstract: A wearable band (110) for an electronic device (100) and a method of forming the wearable band for the electronic device. The wearable band may include a first strap portion (112) including a loop (128), and a second strap portion (118) positioned through the loop of the first strap portion. The second strap portion may include a first group of components (138) positioned adjacent a first end of the second strap portion. The first group of components may include magnetic properties. The second strap portion may also include a second group of components (140) positions adjacent a second end, opposite the first end, of the second strap portion.     Abstract: A balanced magnetic string and methods for forming same are described. The balanced magnetic string includes at least a plurality of magnetic elements linearly arranged in an alternating magnetic polarity pattern and each comprising a first magnetic volume and a compensating magnetic element having a second magnetic volume that is different than the first magnetic volume. The plurality of magnetic elements and the compensating magnetic element magnetically interact to provide a resultant magnetic field having a desired magnetic field strength at a point of interest.
