Abstract: A connecting device for hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems comprises a first engagement portion (2) associable with a first element of a system, a second engagement portion (3) associable with a second element of a system, a plate-like plug (4) that can be operatively activated between the two engagement portions (3) to keep them fastened to each other under operating conditions. The device further comprises retaining means (5) to be connected to the plug (4) and comprising a counter-element (5d) to be mounted on the plug (4) in such a manner as to define, in cooperation therewith, a closed boundary line surrounding the first and/or second engagement portions (2, 3).
