Abstract:
A circular cylindrical striker member 2 for a drilling machine adapted to transfer kinetic energy to an impulse receiving member 4. The striker member has a diameter d max , and includes a side surface 12 and an impulse surface (6). The striker member is adapted to transfer the kinetic energy to the impulse receiving member by a ring shaped active surface of the impulse surface, wherein the ring shaped active surface is concentric with regard to the cross section of the striker member, has a diameter d a , where d a max , and has a width w a that during the contact moment with the impulse receiving part is less than 0.2d max.
Abstract:
A damping device for inserting into a housing of an impulse producing drill machine, for damping Shockwave reflexes from a drill string connected to the drilling machine, is distinguished in that a first damping piston (7) for direct or indirect action against the drill string and for applying a pressure in the direction of the drill string an a second damping piston (9) for applying pressure in the direction against the drill string against a fixed stop (11) arranged in the housing, wherein the first (7) and the second damping piston (9) are arranged to co-operate for joint damping action with a drill bushing or shank adapter in a certain relative position. The invention also concerns a drilling machine.
Abstract:
A rinsing device in a drill device for rock drilling, comprises a cylindrical neck adaptor which comprises a mantle surface, two end surfaces, a central axial passage which opens at one end surface, and a radial connection between the central axial passage and an opening in the mantle surface. The rinsing device also comprises a rinse head with a axially-extending hole. The neck adaptor is slidably arranged in said hole. The rinse head surrounds a part of the mantle surface of the neck adaptor and provides a first space which extends around the mantle surface of the neck adaptor in the region of the opening in the mantle surface of the neck adaptor. The first space is connected to the outside of the rinse head via a feed channel. The rinsing device comprises at least one primary sealing element arranged in the axial direction on each side of the first space in the rinse head to provide a seal between the neck adaptor and the first space. The rinsing device also comprises at least one second space which extends about the mantle surface of the neck adaptor, each of which second spaces borders that side of each primary sealing element which faces away from the first space. The rinsing device comprises means for supplying lubricant to the second space.
Abstract:
A driver (3) for the transfer of torque and rotation from a rotation chuck (5) to a drill steel (2), whereby the cross-section of the driver (3) is limited outwards by curves, in particular by arcs, united to form a closed figure (6) that can be approximately described as a polygon, and limited inwards by splines (4). The figure (6) comprises four sides (7) and four corners (8). The splines (4) comprise a number of spline teeth (10), the number of which is divisible by four.
Abstract:
Rock drilling machine (10) comprising a piston that is arranged to move back and forth in a chamber (12a, 12b) when the rock drilling machine (10) is in use, a cavitation-sensitive component (14), and an oil channel that is arranged to extend between the chamber (12a, 12b) and said cavitation-sensitive component (14). The oil channel comprises a series of restrictions (18) and oil volumes (20) to hinder the movement of cavitation bubbles through said oil channel.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drill bushing for engagement with a drilling steel, wherein said drill bushing (2) has contact surfaces (4) for contact with a drilling steel (1) , said contact surfaces (4) having interior, inwards curved shapes, whereby edge abutment of a drilling steel (1) against said contact surfaces (4) is avoided. By way of the invention, a better wear picture is obtained for the shank of a drilling steel.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a neck adaptor at a drilling device for rock drilling. The neck adaptor is cylindrical and comprises an envelope surface, a front end surface, a central axial passage which orifices at the front end surface, and a radial side-flushing hole which extends from the central axial passage and orifices in the envelope surface. The side-flushing hole has an oblong cross-section which extends along a mid axis from a front end of the cross-section of the side-flushing hole to a rear end of the cross-section of the side-flushing hole. The mid axis is substantially parallel with the central axial passage. The front end faces the front end surface of the neck adaptor. The cross- section of the side-flushing hole is wing profile shaped. The cross-section is divided up into two cross-section parts perpendicular against the mid axis, so that each of the two cross-section parts has substantially the same length of the mid axis. The two cross- section parts comprise a front cross-section part comprising the front end of the cross- section of the side-flushing hole, which front cross-section part has a front cross-section area, and a rear cross-section part comprising the rear end of the cross-section of the side-flushing hole, which rear cross-section part has a rear cross-section area. The front cross-section area is formed to be smaller than the rear cross-section area.
