Abstract: Methods may involve maintaining a first secure, distributed transaction ledger including a digital inventory of product designs for industrial products. A second secure, distributed transaction ledger including a digital record of an entity's physical inventory of industrial products may be maintained. The second secure, distributed transaction ledger may be synced with a remote copy. A third secure, distributed transaction ledger including a digital record of precursors for manufacturing the product designs in the digital inventory may be maintained. The first, second, and third secure, distributed transaction ledgers may be interrelated and updated to associate digital records of at least some industrial products in the physical inventory of the second secure, distributed transaction ledger with corresponding product designs in the digital inventory of the first secure, distributed transaction ledger and digital records of corresponding precursors in the third secure, distributed transaction ledger.

Abstract: Methods may involve accepting an order for a product to be manufactured and identification of a product file meeting the specification, the product file comprising instructions for manufacturing the product. Pre-manufacture verification of manufacturer capabilities and product precursors may be accepted. Operational parameters to enable an additive manufacturing device to manufacture the product may be sent as discrete packets. At least one packet may be sent only after receipt of confirmation that at least another previous layer is complete and associated operational parameters for the at least another previous layer have been deleted. In-manufacture verification of the operational parameters utilized by the additive manufacturing device when manufacturing the product may be accepted. At each stage, a blockchain for certifying characteristics of the product may be updated to associate data representative of workflows for the product with an encrypted, secure identifier utilizing a secure, distributed transaction ledger.

Abstract: Methods may involve sending identification of a product to an additive manufacturer. Confirmation from the additive manufacturer of availability may be received. Approval of a respective additive manufacturer may be confirmed. Discrete packets of operational parameters to enable an additive manufacturing device to manufacture respective portions of the product may be generated. Respective packets of operational parameters may be encrypted and sent to a network-connected additive manufacturing device. The respective packets may be sent only after confirmation that a previous packet is complete and has been deleted. A time from completion of the previous packet may be sufficient to ensure that manufacturing of another portion of the product may begin without interruption in an additive manufacturing process. During at least some stages, a blockchain may be updated to associate data representative of workflows for the product with an encrypted, secure identifier utilizing a secure, distributed transaction ledger.
