Abstract: A fuse for a battery module is provided. The fuse includes a fusing element having a plurality of openings, a first fuse link that is integrally formed with a first portion of the fusing element, a second fuse link that is integrally formed with a second portion of the fusing element, and an overmold that encapsulates at least a portion of the fusing element. The second portion of the fusing element is arranged opposite to the first portion of the fusing element. The first fuse link may be configured to connect to a first battery cell of a battery module and the second fuse link may be configured to connect to a second battery cell of the battery module.
