Abstract: The invention relates to a golf ball treatment device for treating a golf ball by means of a radiation process for bringing an additive in a wall of the golf ball into an excited state so that following the treatment the golf ball is luminescent, the device comprising: - a housing, - a holder, such as a tub, which is arranged in the housing for the purpose of holding at least a golf ball, preferably one golf ball, the holder preferably being accessible from an upper side thereof, - closing means such as a cover, - a predetermined number of radiation sources such as LEDs, - control means for controlling the radiation sources, the control means preferably comprising a printed circuit board, wherein - the device comprises moisture barrier means for forming a moisture barrier between the holder and the other contents of the housing.
