摘要： There is provided a method and system for managing communications associated with a user using an electronic device. The method is executable at a server that is communicatively coupled to the electronic device via a communication network. The method comprises receiving from the electronic device, via the communication network, an indication of a break-time slot, the break-time slot indicative of the user availability; creating an entry in a user's scheduling application profile, the entry associated with the break-time and indicative of the user availability; based at least in part on a time of the user availability, selecting a targeted message, the targeted message being associated with the time of the user availability; causing, via the communication network, an electronic device associated with the user to display the targeted message in association with indication of the break-time slot in the scheduling application.
