    Abstract: A method may include illuminating a region of a choroid of an eye of a patient with off-axis illumination from a first imaging channel, the first imaging channel being off-axis with respect to an axis of a focus of the eye. The method may also include capturing an image of the choroid, where the off-axis illumination from the first imaging channel is off-set within the first imaging channel from the image sensor. A second off-axis illumination from a second imaging channel that is off-axis from both the first imaging channel and the off-axis illumination may illuminate the same or a different region of the choroid. The captured image of the choroid may be provided to a machine learning system. Indices associated with the image may be identified based on an output of the machine learning system.

    Abstract: An optical imaging device includes a plurality of imaging channels. Each imaging channel of the plurality of imaging channels may include a discrete optical imaging pathway, and the plurality of imaging channels may be disposed within a support structure. The plurality of imaging channels may be aimed at different angles relative to each other. The optical imaging device may also include a secondary fixation target within at least one imaging channel of the plurality of imaging channels such that at least one corresponding optical imaging pathway fits through a pupil diameter that is smaller than a minimum pupil diameter for multi-channel image acquisition with primary fixation.

    Abstract: An optical imaging device includes a support structure and imaging channels, where each imaging channel includes a discrete optical imaging pathway. The imaging channels may be disposed within the support structure, and the imaging channels may be aimed at different angles relative to each other such that each optical imaging pathway is directed towards a pupil of the eye. Additionally, the optical imaging device may include a primary fixation target configured to emit optical signals along a primary fixation target projection path towards the pupil of the eye. Further, an artifact of the primary fixation target may be generated onto a portion of the eye to be imaged.

    Abstract: An optical imaging device may include a support structure and imaging channels, where each imaging channel may include a discrete optical imaging pathway. The optical imaging device may also include image capturing devices respectively associated with one of the imaging channels to capture a first set of digital photograph images of respective portions of the eye. In some embodiments, the first set of digital photograph images may overlap each other and may be stitched together such that the first set of digital photograph images form a first composite image with a first set of scallops. Additionally, the optical imaging device may be rotated to capture a second set of digital photograph images that overlap each other and may be stitched together such that the second set of digital photograph images form a second composite image with a second set of scallops positioned differently than the first set of scallops.
