摘要: The present invention relates to a method of dispersing a seaweed powder in an aqueous environment, comprising the steps of (a) providing a seaweed powder and an aqueous environment; and (b) dispersing the seaweed powder in the aqueous environment at a pH of at least 3.5, preferably at most 9.0. The invention further relates to a dispersion of seaweed powder in an aqueous environment obtained by the method of the invention and its use in food, beverages, nutritional products, dietary supplements, feed, personal care applications, pharmaceutical applications and industrial applications.

摘要: The present invention relates to a seaweed-based composition comprising water, a seaweed powder and an additional component, said additional component being chosen from the group consisting of glucomannans, galactomannans, native starch and combinations thereof. Preferably, the red seaweed selected from the families of Gigartinaceae, Bangiophyceae, Palmariaceae, Hypneaceae, Cystocloniaceae, Solieriaceae, Phyllophoraceae and Furcellariaceae or combinations thereof.
