Abstract:
To improve a device for the lateral sensing of nappless regions on textile webs, especially sponge cloth, in a textile machine in which the textile web runs over a guide roller in the region of the detection device and the napless regions are detected by photodetectors consisting of transmitters and receivers secured on a frame, whereby the detector beams are directed tangentially to the guide roller and thus toward the textile web at its deviation position so that the distance between the photodetectors is automatically adjusted to the surface, it is proposed that the frame (1) is guided with rollers (2) directly on the surface of the guide roller (3) and the transmitters (7, 8) and receivers (4-6) of the photodetector are arranged on a plate (9) secured on the frame (1) at a distance tangential to the guide roller (3).
Abstract:
In order to prevent the detachment of the weft threads at the edges of textile products, especially slop-cloths, in an edge guide for a textile web in a sewing installation for the automatic final production of edged textile products like slop-cloths in particular, in which the textile web (1) is wound on a spindle and is already edged; with a conveyor to pull the textile web from the spindle which operates in a first conveyor, with a separating device which cuts off the textile web (1) transversely to the first conveyor direction, with endless longitudinal conveyors (14) operating transversely to the first conveyor direction which clamp and transport them to sewing machines (13) arranged on both sides of the endless longitudinal conveyor (14) in such a way that the ends can be edged on both sides with the formation of a seam, with advancing and return tongs (2, 3) movable between a right-hand (I) and left-hand (II) machine half, whereby the tongs (2, 3) pass the sections of the textile web (1) cut off by the separator to the clamping devices (7, 8; 9, 10) of the longitudinal conveyor, it is proposed that, between the end of the separator (M; 11, 12) near the sewing machines and the sewing machines themselves (13), on both sides of the textile web (1) there is a setting-up device (20) consisting of an abutment rail (18) and an edged rail (19), where the abutment rail (18) is fitted with an oblique leader so that the edges of the textile web (1) can be raised at a right angle (1a).
Abstract:
A transverse cutting device for webs of material, in particular textile webs, consists of a cutting station and a web feed with a web buffer, arranged on a common frame. The cutting station has a rotating disk cutter, and the device also comprises driven transport nippers and a tray on which the cut material is stacked. The machine can be operated automatically as well as manually in order to cut along cutting lines of any desired shape. To this end, the cutting station (2) is designed so that in one operating mode, the rotating disk cutter (8) can be moved back and forth across the web by means of a belt which can be disengaged and in another operating mode, the disk cutter (8) can be moved manually across the web and in the direction of motion of the web simultaneously.
