Abstract:
The invention relates to a snap connection for installation and removal without tools, in particular in furniture manufacturing, which enables two components to be rigidly connected without play by generating a pre-tension force, comprising a hollow dowel (1) for the captive insertion of a first object into a bore, wherein a second object is to be fastened to said first object, and wherein the hollow dowel (1) has a front and a rear axial end which, when the hollow dowel (1) is inserted in the bore, is not introduced as far into the bore as the front end. Furthermore, the plug connection is provided with a plug pin (11) for introduction into the hollow dowel (1), wherein the plug pin (11) has a front end, which cooperates with the front end of the hollow dowel (1) and is formed by a widened detent head. The front end of the hollow dowel (1) is longitudinally slotted and comprises at least two, preferably three, elastic circumferential sections having inwardly protruding snap projections (9) for engaging with the widened detent head (12) of the plug pin (11). An axial pre-tension force acts on the plug pin (11) in the direction of the front end of the hollow dowel (1) when the snap projections (9) of the hollow dowel (1) engage with and are seated on the detent head (12) of the plug pin (11), after a radially outwardly occurring elastic deformation of the circumferential sections.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a releasable connecting device for installing a first component on a second component without tools, which connecting device is provided with a clamping bolt (10), which is or can be attached to a first component (12) in such a way that the clamping bolt cannot be unintentionally removed and which has a clamping end (18) having a head element (22) that has an undercut area, and with a clamping element (38) for plunging into an accommodating recess (42) of the second component (14), into which accommodating recess the clamping end (18) of the clamping bolt (10) protrudes with the head element (22) of the clamping end of the clamping bolt perpendicularly to the plunging direction of the clamping element (38). In order to axially clamp the clamping bolt (10) when the clamping bolt is manually inserted into the accommodating recess (42), the clamping element (38) has two engaging elements (50) for encompassing the head element (22) at the undercut area (28) of the head element and for clamping the clamping bolt (10).
