Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptor for charging mobile devices. More particularly, the present invention relates to an adaptor which can be inserted into a light bulb socket and provide electrical power to a mobile 'phone or other low-power device in order to charge a mobile device battery. Aspects and/or embodiments seek to provide an adaptor for providing power from a light bulb socket to a mobile phone or other device in order to charge a device battery. According to a first aspect, there is provided an adaptor, comprising: a fitting, operable to couple with a light bulb socket; a transformer; and a charging port.
