Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical contact comprising a cable (20) comprising at least one conductive wire (22) and an insulating sheathing (21), whereby the cable comprises a dismantled portion where the sheathing is dismantled from the wire, and the dismantled portion is in longitudinal direction of the cable enclosed by two sheathed portions (21, 24) in which the wire (22) is fully surrounded by the sheathing; and a contact terminal (30) with a crimping portion (31) crimped to the dismantled portion and at least partially to both sheathed portions (21, 24) to cover the dismantled portion.
