Abstract:
4-Amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid and agriculturally acceptable esters or salts thereof are used in methods for selective post-emergent control of undesirable vegetation in the presence of sunflowers, sorghum, yellow mustard, spring Juncea canola, spring kale, spring turnip, spring rutabaga, spring Winfred forage brassica, or sugar beet.
Abstract:
Herbicidal compositions comprise a mixture comprising (a) 4-amino-3-chloro-6-( 4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl )pyridine-2- carboxylic acid or an agriculturally acceptable ester, amide, or salt thereof, (b) fluroxypyr or an agriculturally acceptable ester, amide, or salt thereof, and (c) MCPA or 2,4-D or agriculturally acceptable esters, amides, or salts thereof. The compositions provide synergistic weed control of undesirable vegetation in areas including, but not limited to, cereals, rice, range and pasture areas, industrial vegetation management (IVM), and rights-of-way.
Abstract:
Provided herein are synergistic herbicidal compositions containing (a) a compound of formula (I): 4-amino-3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, e.g., 2,4-D, aminocyclopyrachlor, aminopyralid, clomeprop-P, clopyralid, dicamba, diclorprop-P, fluroxypyr meptylheptyl ester (MHE), MCPA, MCPB, picloram, quinclorac, triclopyr, and halauxifen-methyl, (methyl 4-amino-3 -chloro-6-( 4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl) picolinate), or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof. The compositions and methods provided herein provide control of undesirable vegetation, e.g., in direct-seeded, water-seeded and transplanted rice, cereals, wheat, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, corn/maize, sugarcane, sunflower, oilseed rape, canola, sugar beet, soybean, cotton, pineapple, pastures, grasslands, rangelands, fallowland, turf, tree and vine orchards, aquatics, plantation crops, vegetables, industrial vegetation management (IVM) or rights-of-way (ROW).
Abstract:
Provided herein are safened herbicidal compositions for use in Brassica species susceptible to injury by halauxifen comprising (a) a herbicidally effective amount of halauxifen or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester of thereof, and (b) one or more of (i) a herbicide[s], capable of safening the halauxifen to the Brassica species, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, or (ii) a herbicide safener, capable of safening the halauxifen to the Brassica species, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are herbicidal compositions comprising a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a pyridine carboxylic acid herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof, and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, an auxin transport inhibitor, agriculturally acceptable salts or esters thereof, or combinations thereof. Also disclosed herein are methods of controlling undesirable vegetation which comprise applying to vegetation or an area adjacent the vegetation or applying to soil or water to prevent the emergence or growth of vegetation (a) a pyridine carboxylic acid herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof, and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, an auxin transport inhibitor, agriculturally acceptable salts or esters thereof, or combinations thereof, wherein (a) and (b) are each added in an amount sufficient to provide a herbicidal effect.
Abstract:
Provided herein are safened herbicidal compositions for use in Brassica species susceptible to injury by aminopyralid comprising (a) a herbicidally effective amount of aminopyralid or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester of thereof, and (b) clopyralid or an agriculturally acceptable salt, ester, or combination thereof.
Abstract:
Provided herein are herbicidal compositions containing (a) sulfentrazone and (b) propyzamide and (a) sulfentrazone and (b) propyzamide and (c) ethalfluralin. The compositions provide synergistic weed control of undesirable vegetation, e.g., in wheat, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, corn or maize, oilseed rape, mustard crops, soybeans, vegetables, pulse crops (e.g., common bean, field pea, chickpea, lentil and faba bean), pastures, grasslands, rangelands, fallow land, turf, tree and vine orchards, industrial vegetation management or rights-of-way.
Abstract:
Herbicidal injury that might otherwise be caused by 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid and agriculturally acceptable salt, ester, and amide derivatives thereof in cereal crops such as wheat, barley, or tame oats, is reduced by concomitant application of florasulam. The composition includes about 2:1 to about 1:2 weight ratio of the pyridine carboxylic acid and florasulam.
