Abstract: Self-cleaning burner of the type installed in solid fuel boilers, comprising a first tubular body (1) for the supply of fuel connected with a certain incline to a second rectangular body (2) for the intake of primary air, longitudinally divided into an upper (3) passage and a lower (7) passage. The upper passage (3) has a plurality of holes (5) making up the grille (6) in its lower longitudinal portion (4). The lower passage (7) directs the primary air current necessary for the combustion at the grille (6). A rotary auger (8) is arranged inside of the upper passage (3), which has an axis of rotation parallel to the axis of revolution of the aforementioned upper passage (3), the auger (8) presenting threads (9) having a diameter similar to the internal diameter of the upper passage (3), the same being adjusted to the internal contour thereof.
