Abstract: Devices (1), systems (10) and method for ventilating train depots are disclosed in which a hood (5) is provided which defines an intake. In an operative configuration, the hood (5) is positioned within an overhead volume corresponding to a space directly adjacent to an exhaust of a locomotive. In a standby configuration the hood (5) does not occupy the overhead volume.
