Abstract: An optometry device for testing an individual's eye comprises: - a casing (2); - an imaging module (10) located in the casing and adapted to produce a light beam (B) directed to the individual's eye; and - a refraction module (30) adapted to provide a variable optical correction to the individual's eye looking therethrough into the casing. The optometry device comprises an illumination system (60)adapted to produce a variable ambient light level inside the casing.
