    Abstract: The regulator device (2) for the operation of a mechanical timepiece movement comprises: - a chassis (4); - a resonator fixed to said chassis and comprising a first annular magnetic structure (8) having a first number N1 of magnets, arranged regularly in a circle, and an elastic structure (20,21,22); - a second annular magnetic structure (14) having a second number N2 of magnets and defining a central axis (16) around which said structure turns, N2 being different from N1. The resonator is arranged such that a resonance mode in which the first magnetic structure undergoes a curvilinear movement, preferably substantially circular, around the central axis can be excited by the rotation of the second magnetic structure. The two magnetic structures define a cycloidal magnetic gearing such that the regulator device incorporates a frequency reducer between the resonance frequency and the frequency of rotation of the second magnetic structure rigidly attached to an escapement wheel.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanical timepiece movement (2) including a resonator (10), an escapement associated with said resonator, and a display (8) of at least one piece of time information. Said display is driven by a mechanical drive device (4) via a counter wheel train (6), the operational pace of which is set by the escapement. At least the resonator is placed in a housing (14), inside of which a pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure exists. The escapement is a magnetic escapement (12) including an escapement wheel directly or indirectly coupled with the resonator via a contactless magnetic coupling system. Said magnetic coupling system is formed such that a non-magnetic wall of the housing passes through the magnetic escapement such that a first portion of said escapement is located inside the housing while a second portion of said escapement is located outside said housing.
