Abstract: A packet (1) of smoking articles and method of producing it. The packet (1) comprises: a group of articles (30); a wrapper (2) that encloses the group of articles (30) and that comprises an opening (3) for extracting the articles (30), a bottom wall (4), a front wall (5) and a rear wall (6); a repositionable closing label (7) that is fixed to the wrapper (2) to open and close the extraction opening (3) of the wrapper (2); a container (8) which houses the wrapper (2), and which includes an opening (9) for extracting the wrapper (2) from the container (8), and a rear wall (10); a cover (11) which has a rear wall (12) hinged to the rear wall (10) of the container (8) to rotate between an open configuration (A) and a closed configuration (B); an element (14) for lifting the wrapper (2), which is fixed to the cover (11) and to the rear wall (6) of the wrapper (2) so that, when the cover (11) is moved from the closed configuration (B) to the open configuration (A), the wrapper (2) slides with respect to the container (8) through the opening (9) of the container (8) and is partially extracted from the container (8).
