Abstract:
Apparatuses for dispensing fluid product, such as soap, hand sanitizer, lotion, etc. are provided. A reservoir carrier is configured to be interchangeably attached to one or more mounting brackets of a mounting bracket system to facilitate attachment of the fluid dispensing system to various structures. For example, at times the reservoir carrier may be paired with a hanging bracket to facilitate hanging a fluid dispensing system, including the reservoir carrier, on a bed rail. At other times, the hanging bracket may be swapped with a clamping bracket to facilitate clamping the fluid dispensing system to a counter or IV pole.
Abstract:
One embodiment discloses a dispenser having a liquid container for holding a liquid, a liquid pump for moving the liquid from the liquid container to a first outlet, a grit container for holding grit, and an air pump for moving the grit from the container to a second outlet. The dispenser includes an actuator for actuating the liquid pump and the air pump. During operation, the liquid pump dispenses a liquid and the air pump causes air to flow through a first passageway into the grit container causing at least some grit to flow through a second passageway, out of the second outlet and into the liquid.
Abstract:
A dispensing system includes a container within which a material is contained and an actuation device movably supported with respect to the container. The actuation device is movable between a first position and a second position. The dispensing system includes a control system. The control system includes an engagement portion in movable engagement with the actuation device. The control system includes a control portion. As the actuation device is moved from the first position to the second position a first time, the control portion does not restrain movement of either the engagement portion or the actuation device. As the actuation device is moved between the first position and the second position a second time within a predetermined time period after the first time, the control portion restrains movement of at least one of the engagement portion or the actuation device.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of top loading and unloading dispensers are disclosed herein. One embodiment, includes a housing having a guide plate located in the housing. The guide plate includes two or more guide members, the two or more guide members have a first portion and a second portion. The first portions of the two or more guide members are closer together then the second portions of the two or more guide members. The dispenser also includes an actuator carriage and a pair of engagement blades carried by the actuator carriage. Each engagement blade has a first end that engages with one of the two or more guide members. The engagement members having opposing recesses for engaging the nozzle of a pump of a refill unit. When the pair of engagement blades move along the second portion of the two or more guide members, the size of the recess expands.
Abstract:
A dispensing system comprises a first electronic sensor and a controller. The first electronic sensor may be configured to detect a first change from a first amount of a fluid product in a dispensing system reservoir to a second amount of the fluid product in the dispensing system reservoir. The controller may be coupled to the first electronic sensor and configured to receive a first signal from the first electronic sensor indicative of the first change. The dispensing system reservoir may be disposed in the dispensing system. A method for determining a remaining service interval for a dispensing system reservoir is also provided.
Abstract:
A shield for a fluid dispenser includes a mount structure and a fluid-deflecting structure defining an interior flow passage. The mount structure is configured to be attached to an actuator of a fluid dispenser. Fluid dispensers and fluid dispenser systems are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Under-counter foam dispensing systems and refill units for under-counter mount foam dispensing systems are disclosed herein. An exemplary refill unit includes a container for holding a liquid, at least a portion of a liquid pump, a quick-connect air manifold for releasably connecting to a pressurized air source, an air passage to a mixing chamber and a liquid passage to the mixing chamber. The air, inlet is in fluid communication with the source for pressurized air when the refill unit is mounted in the dispensing system and disengages from the pressurized air source when the refill unit is removed from the under-counter mount foam dispensing system.
